Leadership Qualities
Today’s mantra to become a successful leader is an attitude and desire to practice trough actions and less by words. As a leader you will need to have faith in your subordinates, with respect towards them, making them feel as they important. As a leader in your leadership you need to have a clear vision of where your team should go and needs to have retrospective while making and devising plans for the future. A leader needs to have an ability to fathom roles as a teacher, supporter and a coach. You will need to be prepared for any kind of situation instead of making them on a fly that leads to disaster on the long run paying attentions to suggestions given by his team, being focused on ideas.
A good leader wouldn’t criticize someone in front of others, he or she will do it in privet and criticizing not the person but the ideas. You need to teat people alike, keep a balance within profession and ethics. For having easy atmosphere in a team a leader will need to be cheerful having a good sense of humor and lead the team in a right direction having priorities and actions. A leader always works on his or her leadership qualities and alert for shortcomings with patience, it not about winning or losing it’s about win-win situation.
There are times when a leader goes wrong, being able to admit shortcomings and if there is some problem he will look for another person who can help to solve it.
A leader needs to evaluate situation and come up with ideas, if somebody tells you that something will fail, ponder upon the merits of that idea, it will be helpful to analyze if a particular situation can do fine without that specific concept…
